Israeli forces are set to make significant withdrawals from Khan Yunis and southern Gaza as part of a new agreement, following changes to proposed maps at the request of Hamas. The deal, reached early Wednesday, will see living hostages released on Sunday and deceased hostages on Monday, with no public ceremonies. In return, Israel will release a large number of detainees and allow substantial humanitarian aid into Gaza, though concerns remain about aid being diverted by Hamas.
