A Palestinian rights organization has initiated legal action in the United Kingdom against British citizens who served in the Israeli military during the conflict in Gaza. The group argues that these individuals violated a British law prohibiting citizens from fighting for foreign armies engaged in war against states with which the United Kingdom maintains peaceful relations. Lawyers have formally requested a court summons for one individual and claim to have evidence against more than ten others.
