Hezbollah's south Lebanon logistics chief killed in airstrike, IDF says

The Israeli military announced it has killed Abbas Hassan Karki, the logistics chief for Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, in an airstrike near the town of Toul. The military accused Karki of violating a recent ceasefire agreement by working to rebuild Hezbollah's operational capabilities and infrastructure in the region. The strike follows a series of Israeli operations targeting senior Hezbollah figures and sites across Lebanon, actions which Israel claims are in response to continued violations of the ceasefire by the group. The ongoing conflict has led to significant displacement in northern Israel and increased pressure on Hezbollah to disarm, as the Lebanese army prepares plans to take greater control in the south.
