Kibbutz Be'eri, which suffered devastating losses during the October 7 attacks, is making its first significant investment since then by joining forces with Kibbutz Hatzerim and an infrastructure fund to acquire a 25 percent stake in Arava Power for approximately 115 million shekels. The deal, expected to be signed soon, will see Be'eri and Hatzerim each investing 20 million shekels, with the remainder coming from the infrastructure fund managed by Giza Singer Even. Arava Power, a pioneer in Israel's solar energy sector, has developed a substantial portfolio of renewable energy projects in Israel and the United States. This investment marks a major step for Be'eri as it looks toward rebuilding and supporting sustainable energy initiatives.
