The Israeli military announced it has eliminated Ibrahim Muhammad Raslan, a Hezbollah maintenance officer, in the Kounine area of southern Lebanon. Raslan was reportedly involved in efforts to reestablish Hezbollah's terror infrastructure, which the Israeli military described as a threat to Israel and a violation of agreements between the two countries. In addition, Israeli forces struck other Hezbollah infrastructure, including a launcher and tunnel shaft, in Mahmudiyah. These actions come amid ongoing tensions and recent agreements that restrict unauthorized armed groups and military infrastructure in southern Lebanon.
