Interpol has issued a Red Notice for Rishabh Baisoya, who is wanted in connection with a massive drug seizure valued at thirteen thousand crore rupees by Delhi Police. This move has sparked an international search, with law enforcement agencies worldwide working to locate and detain Baisoya, who is believed to be hiding in the Middle East. Authorities have also requested a trial in absentia, allowing proceedings to continue despite his absence, as he has been declared a proclaimed offender.
Baisoya is accused of facilitating the transportation and concealment of cocaine for an international drug cartel allegedly led by his father. Police investigations revealed that the cartel used shell companies and coordinated consignments via digital platforms, distributing drugs at events across several major Indian cities. The network reportedly operated from Pakistan and Dubai, with members in multiple countries, prompting requests for international cooperation in the ongoing probe.
