Israel receives body from Gaza after Netanyahu says soldier killed in 2014 to be returned

Israel has received the body of a hostage from Gaza, following Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's announcement that the remains of a soldier killed in 2014 would be returned. The Israeli military is currently working to formally identify the body. Earlier statements indicated that the soldier, Hadar Goldin, was killed in an ambush during a previous conflict and his body had been held in Gaza since then. If confirmed to be Goldin, this return would mean Hamas has handed over all living hostages and most of the deceased hostages as part of the first phase of a ceasefire agreement.
