Troops from the Kfir Brigade, operating under the Northern Gaza Brigade, have been working in Beit Hanoun to dismantle remaining underground and above-ground militant infrastructure. In a recent overnight operation, soldiers from the Kfir Brigade and the Yahalom Unit dismantled a tunnel route where three battalion members lost their lives nearly a year ago during a confrontation with militants. The tunnel, which was about one kilometer long and extended dozens of meters underground, was located east of the Yellow Line in accordance with the ceasefire agreement. Military officials emphasized that these ongoing operations aim to eliminate immediate threats and ensure the safety of residents in the western Negev.
