Rabbi Gershon Lieder, a pivotal leader in the development of the Haredi healthcare system in Israel, has died at the age of 80. He was instrumental in the establishment and growth of the Sanz-Laniado Medical Center in Netanya, guiding its construction and early operations. Later, he led Ma'aynei Hayeshua Medical Center in Bnei Brak, helping it become a cornerstone of medical care for the Haredi community. Rabbi Lieder was also known for his entrepreneurial spirit within the Sanz Hasidic community, dedicating his efforts to the advancement of healthcare and other communal institutions.
