Heavy rainfall led to severe flooding in the town of Elkana, where firefighters rescued ten residents, including a mother and infant, from homes inundated by rising waters. The water level reached nearly a meter, making evacuation challenging, especially for families with small children.
At the same time, emergency teams responded to multiple incidents in southern Israel, rescuing individuals from vehicles trapped or swept away by flash floods. Firefighters worked swiftly across affected areas to ensure the safety of those caught in the sudden storms, with no injuries reported among those rescued.
