Prosecutors say King posted threats on social media, explicitly stating his intent to target every synagogue within a 20-mile radius, and encouraged authorities to take his statements seriously. Even after being detained for psychiatric evaluation, King reportedly continued to post inflammatory messages online, including anti-Semitic remarks. He pleaded not guilty to the charges and is scheduled to stand trial in January.
