A family in Rishon Lezion has been ordered to stop parking in a space they used for 48 years, following a ruling by the land registrar for the Rehovot district. The dispute arose after the building's condo board argued that the family's long-term use of the spot did not grant them any legal rights. Building bylaws from the 1980s had clearly assigned parking spaces to specific apartments, excluding the family's unit. Despite this, the family had continued to use one of the spaces, preventing rightful owners from accessing it. The court's decision reinforces the authority of building bylaws and the rights of designated parking space owners.
