Israel has been confirmed as a participant in the next Eurovision Song Contest, despite controversy and calls for its exclusion. Following a meeting of the European Broadcasting Union's general assembly, no vote was held on Israel's participation, prompting Dutch and Spanish broadcasters to announce their withdrawal from the 2026 event.
