Nigel Farage launches tirade at BBC over allegations he was racist at school

Nigel Farage, leader of Reform UK, has strongly denied allegations that he used racist and antisemitic language during his time at Dulwich College nearly five decades ago. In a heated exchange with the BBC, Farage accused the broadcaster of hypocrisy and double standards, referencing its historical use of blackface in popular shows. He demanded an apology from the BBC for its past content and criticized the framing of questions about his alleged remarks.

Farage read out a letter from a former Jewish classmate who defended him, stating that while schoolboy banter was common, he never witnessed Farage racially abusing anyone. The allegations, which resurfaced after reports from former classmates, have led to criticism from both Conservative and Labour Party figures, who questioned Farage's responses and the fitness of Reform UK for high office. Farage maintains that he never intentionally abused anyone and rejects the claims as politically motivated recollections from decades ago.
