Yedida Rosenberg, a mother of eight and an experienced emergency medic, played a unique dual role when she delivered her own granddaughter at home in Har Bracha. Her daughter, Batsheva Cohen, went into advanced labor and called her mother for help. Realizing there was no time to reach the hospital, Yedida used her medical expertise to safely deliver the baby girl before emergency services arrived.
Yedida, who has assisted several births in her community, described the experience as deeply moving, especially as it involved her own family. She reflected on her own past emergency birth and expressed gratitude for being able to support her daughter both as a mother and a medic.
