This incident follows recent claims by an Iranian hacker group that they had accessed the personal phone of former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, leaking contacts and media files, though Bennett's office denied that his device was compromised. Instead, it was clarified that access was gained to his messaging account, and both authentic and fake content was unlawfully distributed, which Bennett's office condemned as a criminal act.
