The proposal includes robust security guarantees from Ukraine's partners, designed to trigger international action in case of renewed Russian aggression, similar to the mutual defense commitments of the North Atlantic Treaty. Additionally, a separate agreement with the United States would detail the terms of these guarantees and set up a mechanism for monitoring any ceasefire, with both documents intended to be signed together.
