Search operations are underway in the Nahal Meitar area of the Judean Desert for a person believed to have been swept away while trying to recover a vehicle. The efforts involve multiple rescue units and police officers, following severe weather that has caused widespread flooding, transportation disruptions, and several rescue incidents across the country. Earlier, two drivers trapped near the Binyamin junction were rescued by helicopter, and at Megiddo Junction, four people were safely rescued from a sinking off-road vehicle. Additional incidents included a tree collapsing onto a car in Herzliya, with the driver escaping unharmed, and heavy traffic congestion in Bnei Brak due to malfunctioning traffic lights.
