US and partner forces have neutralized nearly 25 ISIS terrorists in Syria following a major strike on December 19. The coordinated operation, involving American and Jordanian troops, targeted over 70 ISIS sites with precision munitions, destroying infrastructure and weapons caches. Subsequent missions resulted in the deaths and capture of ISIS members, as well as the elimination of four weapons caches. The actions were in response to a deadly ISIS ambush and are part of ongoing efforts to prevent the group's resurgence in the region. Despite losing most of its territory, ISIS continues to pose a threat through sleeper cells and attacks in Syria and Iraq.
