Iran-linked hacking group Handala has published dozens of photos and videos it claims were stolen from the mobile phone of former Israeli minister Ayelet Shaked. The group alleges it has obtained confidential information related to security matters and behind-the-scenes political decisions, and has threatened to release more material soon. Shaked, who previously served as interior and justice minister, has not responded to these claims.
Handala has previously targeted other high-profile Israeli figures, including the prime minister's chief of staff and former prime ministers, though some of these alleged breaches have been denied. The recently released footage includes personal moments, government meetings, and scenes from Shaked's career, as well as unrelated images. The group has a history of cyberattacks on Israeli targets during the ongoing conflict in Gaza, and has previously published sensitive data from various sources.
