Members of the Iranian diaspora gathered in London to support ongoing protests in Iran, as demonstrations have spread to more than two dozen cities. Around 100 pro-democracy demonstrators assembled outside Downing Street, waving flags and listening to speeches, while a separate group rallied nearby in support of the deposed Shah and his son. Participants emphasized the importance of solidarity, with many expressing hope and encouragement drawn from the resistance inside Iran. The protests are seen as a turning point, with people from various backgrounds, including traditionally conservative groups, now joining the movement against the current regime.
