Cybersecurity startup Minimus has secured $51 million in seed funding to launch a platform designed to eliminate over 95 percent of software supply chain vulnerabilities. The funding round was co-led by YL Ventures and Mayfield, with notable participation from industry veterans. Minimus was founded in October 2022 by a team with a strong background in container security and contributions to national security standards.
The newly raised capital will support the development and rollout of Minimus's platform, which promises to bring a significant shift in application security. The founders' previous experience in pioneering container security positions the company to address longstanding challenges in the software supply chain.
