US President Donald Trump issued a stern warning to Iran during a televised interview, stating that any assassination attempt against him would provoke a devastating response. Trump emphasized his willingness to order a powerful military action, asserting that he would 'wipe [Iran] off the face of this Earth' if threatened. He also criticized former president Joe Biden for what he described as a weak stance toward Iranian threats, insisting that any president should defend their successor or predecessor from such dangers.
In a separate incident, President Trump's flight to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, was briefly interrupted by a minor electrical failure on his plane. The aircraft returned safely to Joint Base Andrews, where Trump and his team switched planes before continuing their journey.
