Israel's public broadcaster has announced that Noam Bettan will perform a song titled Michelle at the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna. The song is set to be officially unveiled next Thursday.
Michelle was chosen by a committee from around 200 submissions. About 40 songs were initially selected anonymously for discussion, with four finalists recorded by Bettan to allow the committee to evaluate each entry based on his performance. The final choice was made by a large majority vote.
The Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Vienna in May. Bettan is scheduled to perform in the first semifinal on May 12, appearing in the second half of the show alongside representatives from several other countries.
