The Dutch airline KLM has announced it will suspend its flights between Amsterdam and Tel Aviv starting March 1, citing commercial and operational considerations. The suspension will remain in place until further notice.
The decision comes amid rising regional tensions involving Iran and the possibility of military conflict, although the airline did not directly link the move to security concerns. The company said it continuously adjusts its global network based on market demand and operational circumstances and currently does not find the route commercially or operationally feasible.
Passengers affected by the suspension are being contacted directly and offered the option to rebook their flights or receive refunds. The airline had only resumed service to Israel at the end of September after earlier disruptions caused by previous hostilities.
