A delegation of 120 senior Christian women leaders from the United States and other countries arrived in Israel for what organizers described as the largest Christian women's leadership mission to visit the country. The group is scheduled to meet with President Isaac Herzog and First Lady Michal Herzog and to visit sites connected to the October 7 Hamas attack, including the Nova music festival memorial.
Organized by Eagles' Wings, the mission comes amid heightened regional tensions and ongoing diplomatic discussions involving Iran. Participants include evangelical pastors, faith leaders, academics, business figures, media personalities, and a social influencer from the Arab world, with meetings planned with women serving in government from both coalition and opposition parties.
The delegation will also meet with Arab Christian women to discuss shared challenges and opportunities for cooperation. Organizers said the visit, taking place around the holiday of Purim, is intended to express solidarity, offer prayer, and strengthen ties between Christian communities and the Jewish people in the wake of the October 7 attack.
