He said that rising up against such entrenched power structures is extremely difficult, but suggested that the current moment could present an opportunity for meaningful change within Iran.

Azar stated that both the United States and Israel have a moral responsibility to offer hope to Iranians seeking a better future. He also claimed that voices of support and celebration are emerging from Iranians around the world, reflecting aspirations for greater freedom and a transformation of the country's leadership.
