Major theme parks in Abu Dhabi are continuing to operate despite the ongoing conflict across the Middle East, with attractions such as Warner Bros. World, SeaWorld and Ferrari World welcoming visitors with noticeably smaller crowds. Louvre Abu Dhabi has also maintained its regular opening hours, offering tourists quieter than usual experiences.
Visitors have described near-empty parks and uninterrupted access to rides, with some saying the reduced crowds have made for an enjoyable day out. Park operating hours remain in place for now, with some extensions planned later in the month.
In contrast, many leading attractions in Dubai have closed as a precaution following recent military escalation involving Iran, Israel and the United States. Waterparks, cultural destinations and family theme parks in Dubai have temporarily shut their doors, while parts of regional airspace remain restricted.
Air travel across the region continues to face disruption, with partial airspace closures affecting several Gulf states. Aviation experts warn that even after flights resume, global schedules may take days to stabilize as airlines reposition aircraft and crews.
