Netanyahu-Bin Zayed call: Full plan to return Israelis from the UAE

Israel has approved a special plan to bring home its citizens currently in the United Arab Emirates following a direct call between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and United Arab Emirates President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The Ministry of Transportation confirmed that free rescue flights will be arranged as part of the agreement.

The flights will operate in cooperation with Emirati airlines and will depart once airspace reopens gradually, flying to Israel and additional destinations. At the same time, Israeli airlines will begin operating outbound flights under a limited framework, with a cap of seventy passengers per flight.

El Al announced it will contact foreign passengers whose flights were canceled and rebook them at no extra cost on rescue flights to twenty two global destinations. The airline stressed that new ticket sales will not begin until all previously canceled passengers have been reassigned.
