Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said that Iran will not surrender to external pressure and warned that the country would respond if its territory is attacked. His remarks came after he issued an apology related to strikes in Gulf countries.
Pezeshkian described Gulf states as 'brothers' and accused unnamed enemies of misinterpreting his comments in an attempt to create division between Iran and its neighbors. He emphasized that Tehran does not seek conflict with nearby countries.
He also urged the public to show understanding given the current situation, reaffirming that Iran remains steadfast in the face of pressure while maintaining its stated commitment to regional ties.
