A 37-year-old Tel Aviv resident was arrested on suspicion of breaking into and stealing from an apartment damaged in an Iranian missile strike, according to police. Officers apprehended the suspect on Wednesday morning after spotting him attempting to sell items believed to have been taken from the property.
During a search, police discovered several pieces of jewelry and a box of coffee capsules bearing the apartment owner's name. Investigators are also examining whether the suspect was involved in a prior robbery at the Tel Aviv club 'Shalvata' before the launch of Operation Roaring Lion.
The arrest comes amid ongoing criminal incidents during the war with Iran. In separate cases, authorities detained a woman for alleged online incitement to terrorism and arrested a Lod resident suspected of firing fireworks at a police vehicle.
