The Israeli Air Force has intensified its campaign against targets linked to the Iranian regime, striking more than 200 strategic sites in western and central Iran within a 24 hour period. Dozens of fighter jets, operating under the direction of the Intelligence Directorate of the Israel Defense Forces, carried out coordinated waves of attacks deep inside Iranian territory.
Among the targets hit were missile launchers prepared for immediate use and key weapons production facilities, including missile manufacturing sites that were rendered inoperable. Air defense systems that attempted to interfere with the aircraft were also targeted and destroyed.
Since the beginning of the operation, hundreds of strike sorties have been conducted to dismantle Iran’s ability to launch missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles toward Israel. Military officials said the strikes are aimed at significantly reducing the threat to Israel’s civilian population.
