The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange closed slightly higher on Thursday, led by gains in Tower and Shapir, while Elbit Systems declined as investors took profits. The Tel Aviv 35 Index rose by 0.23 percent to 4,305.03 points, and the Tel Aviv 125 Index edged up 0.05 percent to 4,231.24 points. The BlueTech Global Index also increased by 0.11 percent to 712.54 points.
In contrast, the All Bond corporate bond index slipped 0.06 percent to 421.87 points. Equity turnover totaled 4.72 billion shekels, while bond turnover reached 6.02 billion shekels.
On the foreign exchange market, the representative shekel dollar rate strengthened by 0.743 percent to 3.119 shekels per dollar, and the representative shekel euro rate rose 0.269 percent to 3.580 shekels per euro.
