IDF says it struck Islamic Guards HQ in Tehran; man lightly wounded as Iran keeps up strikes

Israel said it struck the main security headquarters of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in Tehran, as Iran continued firing missile salvos at Israel overnight. A man in northern Israel was lightly wounded after stepping on a missile fragment, and a home in the Haifa suburb of Nesher was damaged by a cluster munition. Sirens sounded across several مناطق of the country, though no other injuries were reported.

The Israeli military said it has significantly reduced Iran's missile-launching capabilities in recent days, destroying or disabling hundreds of ballistic missile launchers and continuing to target remaining sites. Overnight air raids in Tehran reportedly hit military bases, intelligence centers, weapons production facilities, and infrastructure tied to Iran's regional and internal security operations.

Iran has also continued attacks affecting Gulf states, while disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz have sharply reduced commercial shipping traffic, driving up global energy prices. The Security Council is negotiating a draft resolution that would authorize member states to take all necessary measures to protect navigation through the strategic waterway. Meanwhile, talks announced by United States President Donald Trump aim to end the conflict that began on February 28.
