Ali Kadoura, a 33 year old bus driver from the western Galilee village of Nahf, showed significant improvement after being wounded by shrapnel from a rocket while driving his route in Kiryat Shmona. Kadoura had stopped the bus so passengers could take cover when the rocket struck, and he was hit by multiple fragments, mainly in the face.
He was evacuated by helicopter to a hospital, where he was sedated and placed on a ventilator. On Tuesday, his condition improved, and he was taken off the ventilator and began breathing on his own.
His father, Mahmoud Kadoura, described the development as a great miracle, expressing relief at his son's progress after the serious injuries he sustained in the attack.
