United States forces have struck more than 10,000 targets in Iran since the launch of Operation Epic Fury, according to the head of United States Central Command. The milestone was reached just hours before the announcement, with officials noting that additional targets were hit in coordination with Israel.
Military leaders said the campaign has significantly weakened Iran’s naval and missile capabilities. According to the assessment, 92 percent of Iran’s largest naval vessels have been destroyed, leaving the country unable to meaningfully project naval power in the region or globally.
Officials also reported that Iran’s drone and missile launch rates have dropped by 90 percent, and that roughly two-thirds of its military manufacturing capacity has been destroyed or heavily damaged. The United States Air Force has conducted more than 10,000 combat flights during the operation, underscoring what leaders described as sustained air superiority over Iranian airspace.
