Katie Price shares video to try to 'debunk' claims about Lee Andrews

Katie Price has shared a video defending her husband Lee Andrews in response to allegations that he is a scammer. The former glamour model said she wanted to correct claims about his academic background and business dealings after widespread scrutiny of their whirlwind marriage earlier this year.

In the video, Price read a statement she said was provided by Andrews, clarifying that he holds an associate degree in engineering through distance learning from Cambridge and that his doctorate was awarded in Spain, not Cambridge. She insisted he has never claimed to hold a doctorate from Cambridge and described previous reports as hearsay. She also stated that his company is registered in the British Virgin Islands and denied that he has conned or been investigated for wrongdoing.

Andrews has faced accusations from former partners and other women who allege he asked them for money and misrepresented his wealth. Reports have also claimed he was previously jailed in Dubai over an alleged loan dispute and is subject to a travel ban, which he denies. Price said she is happy in her relationship and urged critics not to underestimate him, stressing she is with him for personal reasons rather than his financial status.
