The Israel Defense Forces carried out overnight strikes on multiple weapons production facilities in Tehran, targeting sites linked to ballistic missile development and manufacturing. According to the military, the operation destroyed a ballistic missile construction facility and a research and development center focused on advancing missile capabilities.
Additional targets included a site dedicated to producing and developing components for anti-tank and anti-aircraft missiles. The military said that alongside the strikes on production facilities, parallel attacks were conducted on missile launch sites and surface-to-air missile launch positions.
The operation marks a significant escalation in efforts to disrupt Iran’s missile infrastructure. Further details are expected as the situation continues to develop.
