Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua has been officially served with a civil lawsuit while staying at a holistic rehabilitation facility in Malibu. Process servers made multiple attempts over three days before completing substitute service through a nurse at the facility after administrators declined to confirm his presence.

The lawsuit was filed by Madison Atiabi, who alleges gender violence, assault and battery, and negligence stemming from an incident on New Year's Eve 2025. She claims Nacua bit her shoulder during a night out, causing physical injury, emotional distress, and medical expenses. Atiabi filed a police report on January 2, 2026, and included a photo of the alleged injury in her complaint.

Nacua, who entered rehabilitation in early March for what his attorney described as personal growth unrelated to the allegations, has denied the claims. His attorney called the accusations false and said they plan to pursue a defamation lawsuit, describing the allegations as an attempt at blackmail.
