Israel Defense Forces Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir said Israel remains engaged in a multi theater campaign, with ongoing operations across several fronts. Speaking to senior commanders, he emphasized that forward defense areas have been established near communities in all sectors and that troops will remain in place until civilian security is fully ensured.

Zamir also addressed the role of women in the military, stating that there will be no gender exclusion within the ranks. He said women are an integral part of the Israel Defense Forces and described their full integration as a matter of equality and operational necessity.
