Younes Hamami Lalehzar, a leader of Iran's Jewish community, publicly pledged allegiance to Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei during a rally in Tehran's Enqelab Square, according to footage circulated on social media. Speaking at the event, he expressed support for Khamenei's leadership and voiced hope for the country's success and prosperity under his guidance.

Iran's Jewish population, now significantly smaller than before the 1979 revolution, remains the largest in the Middle East outside Israel. Operating under the constraints of the Islamic Republic, community leaders have frequently issued public statements critical of Israeli policy, particularly following military confrontations.

After recent strikes that damaged a synagogue in Tehran and other Israeli air attacks, Jewish representatives and community organizations in Iran condemned Israel's actions and called for a strong response. Their statements underscored continued public alignment with the Iranian government's positions during periods of regional tension.
