Diego Pavia getting an opportunity to show the Ravens what he can do

The Baltimore Ravens have given undrafted quarterback Diego Pavia a chance to prove himself at rookie minicamp, with coach Jesse Minter delivering a clear message: show what you can do. Pavia impressed in college at New Mexico State and later Vanderbilt, where he became a Heisman Trophy finalist and led the program to a historic season. Despite his production, concerns about his size and arm strength contributed to him going undrafted.

Baltimore currently has limited depth at quarterback and is evaluating how many players to carry into training camp. Pavia is competing with another undrafted rookie, Joe Fagnano, while the team could still explore signing a veteran. Any additional move at the position would make it more difficult for the newcomers to secure a roster spot.

Elsewhere, the Ravens have nearly finalized contracts with their draft class, with second-round pick Zion Young the lone unsigned player amid broader negotiations affecting second-round selections. The team is also evaluating offensive line combinations, including a potential position switch for first-round pick Vega Ioane, and could explore adding a veteran center. With roster spots filling quickly and competition across multiple positions, opportunities remain available but far from guaranteed.
