Two people were stabbed on Golders Green Road in north London, an area with a large Jewish population, according to the volunteer-run Jewish charity Shomrim. The organization said a man armed with a knife attempted to stab Jewish members of the public before being detained by its patrol members.
Police responded to the scene and used a taser, and the suspect was arrested. The two injured individuals were treated by the local medical charity Hatzola.
The Community Security Trust, which monitors antisemitism and helps coordinate security at Jewish institutions, confirmed that a knife attack had taken place. The incident comes weeks after an arson attack in the same neighborhood caused significant damage to Hatzola facilities. The situation remains under investigation.
