Board of Peace denies reported plans to shut down ceasefire coordination HQ in southern Israel

The Board of Peace has denied a report claiming that the United States plans to shut down the Civil Military Coordination Center responsible for coordinating humanitarian aid deliveries into Gaza. The organization stated that the center continues to expand its efforts and is delivering assistance at what it described as an unprecedented level.

The denial follows a report by Reuters citing unnamed sources who said the center, located in Kiryat Gat in southern Israel, would be absorbed into the planned International Stabilization Force. According to the report, the unit would be rebranded as the International Gaza Support Center as part of broader postwar restructuring efforts.
