Israel's Noam Bettan has completed his first official rehearsal for the Eurovision Song Contest at the Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna, unveiling a dramatic stage concept centered around a massive prop known as 'The Diamond.' The structure, described as the largest prop in this year's competition, features infinite internal mirrors designed to recreate the sea of 'Michelles' depicted in the song's music video.
Bettan begins his performance of 'Michelle' from داخل the giant mirrored structure and is joined on stage by five backup dancers. He will compete in the first semifinal on May 12, performing 10th in the lineup. According to Israel's public broadcaster, his rehearsal vocals received enthusiastic reactions from those present in the arena.
For the performance, Bettan is dressed in a black leather jacket and pants paired with a black silk shirt, chosen to complement the reflective crystal surroundings. Director Yoav Tzafir praised the singer's professionalism, saying he is taking to the Eurovision stage for the first time 'like a king.'
