Iran has rejected the latest proposal from the United States to end the war, describing it as equivalent to surrender. The response came after President Donald Trump publicly criticized Tehran’s reply as totally unacceptable.
According to Iranian state television, Tehran dismissed the offer and instead demanded war reparations from the United States. Iranian officials also called for full sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz, an end to sanctions, and the release of seized Iranian assets.
The exchange highlights a widening gap between the two sides, with both maintaining firm public positions and setting conditions that appear difficult to reconcile.
