The Royal International Air Tattoo at Fairford in Gloucestershire has been cancelled due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. Organisers said the decision followed discussions with the United States Air Force over uncertainty بشأن access to the air base amid the situation involving Iran.
The annual event, which has been running for more than 50 years and attracts over 170,000 visitors, was described as deeply valued by supporters and organisers alike. Leaders said the cancellation was not taken lightly and acknowledged the disappointment it would cause.
Ticket holders will be offered the option of a refund, transferring their tickets to next year, or donating the cost to the Royal Air Force Charitable Trust. Organisers confirmed their commitment to bringing the event back in 2027 and aiming for a stronger return.
