According to the military, the strike was carried out after ground forces spotted the operatives beyond the forward defense line and coordinated with the air force. The building was identified as a command center used by Hezbollah.
Over the past day, Israeli forces also targeted Hezbollah weapons depots and other infrastructure in Lebanon. Additional operatives described as posing a threat were also killed during the operations.
