Troops from the Israel Defense Forces 146th Division are continuing operations in southern Lebanon to reinforce the forward defensive zone aimed at protecting residents of northern Israel. The military said the ongoing campaign focuses on eliminating militant threats and dismantling hostile infrastructure near the border.
According to the military spokesperson, division forces have killed approximately 130 Hezbollah fighters and destroyed more than 1,000 sites described as terrorist infrastructure. The operations are part of broader efforts to prevent cross border attacks and strengthen security positions.
In several incidents, soldiers identified militants who posed an immediate threat. After rapid identification and coordination, the Israeli Air Force carried out strikes that killed the suspects as they attempted to flee.
