A senior officer holding the rank of superintendent in the Lahav 433 unit was questioned under caution by the Department of Internal Police Investigations on suspicion of sexual harassment and committing an indecent act against a female subordinate. Following the interrogation, he was barred from entering any police facilities for one week as the investigation continues.

The case began after the female officer filed a complaint detailing an ongoing pattern of harassment. According to her account, the senior officer made sexually explicit remarks, indecent propositions during an official meeting, and allegedly attempted to touch her against her will.

She submitted a detailed written testimony to her direct commander, who promptly referred the matter to the internal investigations body. The officer under investigation has previously been mentioned in connection with another inquiry within the unit. The latest allegations add to a series of incidents that have recently unsettled Lahav 433, including investigations involving its leadership and suspected leaks of information to criminal organizations.
